James Bourbon is one man, a creative, a freelance designer operating in Australia. James is a multidisciplinary designer with an emphasis on print design. James has designed books, magazines, reports, newsletters, flyers, posters, brochures, signage, websites, invitations, concept designs and so much more.
Since graduating in 2006 James has had experience working as a designer for advertising agencies, design studios, large corporations and various sized businesses. James has also collaborated with other freelance designers in the past.
"Being a designer is not just a job to me, it is much more; it is a passion. I love design and
constantly strive for good design. But you may ask, what is good design? Good question, design is not art and not about making things pretty, it is not accidental but rather a mix of great ideas and good delivery of these ideas, combined these two things make good design.
Personally my work has a large focus on ideas, typography, simplicity and communication. All my work is based around these aspects of design and where possible I like to push the boundaries of design to try and create something new and inspiring.
